How handy a recruit has Stinger been now that its halfway through the season

Seems to me he locks down the main danger player from the oppsition (his height allows him to play on a range of players) and has therefore allowed all the other midfielders to play attacking and creative football

Fantastic pickup for the club. I was a bit reluctant when we went after him but now I couldnt be happier. Just give us that top line negative, tagging midfielder that we have been crying out for. He completes our midfield and makes it by far the most dominant in the comp.

I think he has been a big part of why we are number one. He is a great player and can do any job. He also can attack when he is let loose. I dare say but he will be in our top 5 in the b&f at the end of the year. I love Stinger.

It was great to see Hird having no influence whatsoever on the game, as he has torn us a new Arse so many times, I've lost count.

Recruit of the year, IMO.

Stinger has been a fantastic recruit for us. The way he shuts down one of the opposition danger men and gets touches himself is exactly what we needed. Close to recruit of the year

Who was taken with those 2 draft picks?

If it was 12 and 28 then the people that were taken were

Danny Meyer from glenelg To Richmond- #12

Chad Gibson from Norwood to Adelaide- #28

Yeah great effort to get Stinger on board, and we kept Waters and Butler which virtually cancels out those draft picks that Richmond and Adelaide got.

Glad to hear Stinger is doing well, was sad to see him leave but we are also happy with getting Scott Thompson he has been a revelation for us this year.

We also picked up Gibson with pick 28, he is still a few years away but is a big unit.

Richmond would be happy with Danny Meyer that is for sure , not sure if Melbourne fans are happy to have lost Thomspon for Mooney.

But all in all seems to be a bit of a win , win , win trade.

Good to see another GF without a vic team in it. What are the chances of WC v Crows?
