im verryy pleased with those teams because even thouhg we lose bally we gain one of our other most important players in maxy back and hopefully he can shutdown medhurst and leave them with not much. Im surprised over wellinghams dropping as from memory he played well last time against us? and i think hes a good player to exploit us with his pace but with him out with no shaws and didak we have no excuses. we must win this one now but dont underestimate the pies rookies as word from the forums is they are all in very good form.

Rix is in good form too.

If Maxy doesn't play (and really, would we be surprised?!) , who do you think will come in? Rixy or Raph? Personally I'd go with Rix, to give height and strength to the backline and an added option in the ruck (it'd allow Blake to concentrate just on his defending instead of occassionally pinch-tapping).

I've argued for Rix to come in (shouldve taken The Big Spew from WCE, and The Hoff / The Bogan against Port).

But I cannot find the match up against Collingwood, unless they need Blake to go into the ruck (then would be OK for Cloke who runs most guys around).

I think Rix is a backman / pinch-hit ruckman, but they keep playing him in the ruck and forward at Casey. Will not help him get selected with the Saints as I wouldn't want him at FF.

Shattered. Absolutley shattered There is a humoungous problem that needs to be addressed. Too many passengers. After Harves retirement during the week it is absolutley disgusting to see the players play like they couldn't care less. That man has been giving his all for 20+ years and we have 1/2 team who don't play for the pride, passion, or the jumper but the flippin pay cheque. To win from here would take a mighty effort from 22 players. Not 11.

I don't know what to say, just weak.

This club owes Robert Harvey so much, he comes out during the week and gives the players a deadline to do their best for the man and we can't even get up against a Collingwood side in poor form. And to top it all off 36 year old Robert Harvey outperforms a vast majority of the team and works harder than anyone. I'm so angry, not just because we lost but because we have failed the great man once again.

We really have no heart, besides harvey and Riewoldt who worked his f**kin arse off, we have no heart at all, completely piss weak, am sick of it.

St Kilda had seven players with less than 10 disposals (McQualter - 6 / Geary - 6 / Fiora - 7 / Eddy - 7 / Milne - 8 / Koschitzke - 9 / Hudghton - 9). Of those, only Hudghton is excused.

Collingwood had just two players with less than 10 disposals (Goldsack and young first gamer Chris Dawes who had two goals though - Anthony had 10 disposals, but 3 goals).

Quite a few passengers - combine this with sub-average performances from normal leaders Gram, Montagna and in particular Dal Santo and things are not looking good.

The one positive I saw was Schneider. Otherwise, I liked Harvey, Goddard, Hayes and Riewoldt.

Maybe some were, they were probably the "Lyon's is a good coach with a tough plan" ones, I personally thought it wasnt a gimme as our boys have recently lost to WC and then barely managed to beat Port

Why the hell we were apparently favourites (I hadnt realised that till the commentators said we were) when we have played shit bar the Hawks game I dont know lol, then again these same genius's picked us to threaten for the flag.

If we make the finals I will consider the year not a total waste of (was going to say talent but havent seen much of that displayed by more than 3 or so players in a long time) time...just not a real useful or entertaining one.
