Roast St Kilda in no mans land

We got a young ruckman Max Heath in the mid season draft who looks promising, we also got Sharman in that draft who came on as the sub last night and looked good kicking a couple of goals.

One positive from losing last night is we will get better draft picks and there are rumours that Ben King is interested in moving to St Kilda to join his brother, with him and Max in our forward line we will be top 4 material.
We hear this s**t every year, I remember when Lachie Weller was going to be a saint....

Wouldnt the Saints be better off using what it would cost you to get King, to get some more midfield talent in ?
I dont know your list that well, but midfield seems to me to be your bigger concern

We should be targeting quality young midfielders in the draft this year but with our track record we will probably draft some more half back flankers.

We still need another quality tall forward to take the pressure off Max King and his brother fits the bill in that department.

Yep the twins are likely to play together but

at the GoCo.

Unless their midfield can learn to kick to a forward's advantage, it wouldn't matter at all.

Max has about as much chance of going to the Gold Coast as Sydney have of developing their own key forwards.

Given Sydney's track record of poaching St Kilda's key forwards Max has more chance of ending up there.

Revenge for you nicking our small and medium players.

Definitely need to nail the next few drafts. I'd be giving up on trading in anyone unless they are in a good age bracket.

"Rumours" = wishful romantic thinking from delusional saints fans on fan forums.

It's so utterly childish to think players want to play with their brothers.

It's not Auskick at Highett.

You ain't getting his brother.
Stop dreaming .

When a team reaches a critical mass of traded-in players, you have to question whether the buy in is there, the passion, or whether a lot of players simply want to play at the highest level and earn good coin.

The Saints seem to have more of their best 22 traded in from other club than any other team in the competition. They really need to start drafting and developing players - and the right players. Perhaps they've been a little scarred after the McCartin/Billings/Clark & Coffield picks?
