Not really it's just that when you supporter a club so synonymous with failure such as St Kilda you can't really insult any other team due to their lack of success

The Entire list bar Stevens are guys who have broken out but never took a forward step
Gresham/Billings/Roberton(Absolute gun player, sucks what has happened)/Ross/Membery/Bruce all stepped up and became good players, not elite. Still time with a few but they arrived, and just either never kept up or built on those preformances
So you have a list jam packed with good enough to be on any list, none you would really want to pinch. I think somewhere development is a massive issue for the club rather then talent

StKilda have a lot of good AFL players, but really lack the star power, as others have said here.
Hill is a star at what he does, but he is the icing on the cake type of player. Whilst Hill obviously won’t hurt them (unless 900k is true, that could be an ugly contract), St Kilda need more cake before they go getting the icing imo.

no different than our "the streak" DVD. after promising for so long it seemed the side was finally going to deliver, so why not celebrate it, same for you guys. 3 #1's would suggest the nucleus for a new Carlton, all good players but ultimately didn't deliver.

Its an example of paying overs to bring a player over.....
Saying that, there is a few reasons for this.
- Brad Hills wife/girlfriend is from Victoria.
-Brad hill is on a 5 year deal on $500,000 a year at freo. $700,000 on the 1st 2 years. $500,000 on the 3rd which is this year. Then $300,000 for the last 2 years.
-Saints can afford to pay him $900,000 a year for 5-6 years as they are struggling to reach the minimum 95% of the cap. I personally think Brad Hill worth currently at Maximum at $650,000 a year. Then again, Lachie neale is on $800,000 a year at Brisbane.
-Saints have the war chest hence why they are offering money to players. Saying that, they traded pick 6 for 12 and 18, thats 2 late 1st rounders.
