Stokes plays about 10 good minutes a game and is shut down for the rest of it. I am starting to expect more from him than a little burst of 2 goals and then not much for the rest of the match

So if he gets a week........ Okay, bring Varcoe or Djerkurra in!

stokes as been a real great pick up by the cats he kicked a lot of goals last year and again right up there with the goals and has been playing up the ground abit aswell love ya work stokey

You're kidding right? Stokes has been really good this year and is a VERY MAJOR upgrade over the 3 guys you just listed.

Sorry, who was the 3rd guy I mentioned?

He is pretty good (I'm not denying that) but he does seem to 'bob up' rather than be a constant influence like someone like Mark Williams from Hawthorn or Akermanis

The "bobbing up" effect is probaly explainable due to the fact that he spends a lot of game time on the bench- he's one of those players that seems to be rotated an awful lot.

Sorry only two but still he is MILES better than them. He does about all he can. Gets enough of it and always uses it well and rarely misses goals. He's been an asset.

In terms of bobbing up, when he is capable of bobbing up in a huge prelim final and kicking 2 or 3 in the first quarter I am happy.

He kicks more goals and gets more footy than Akermanis, whilst he's a totally different type to Williams, who never leaves the forward 50.
