This kid has got it .Could be the best of our picks including Hilly. So far in front of Nic Nat there is daylight between them.Unlike Nic Nat can read the play and has great stamina.Love this manchild called Stork:thumbsu:

Looked very composed in patches. Just needs to work on his close up ruckwork (which you would expect a kid of his age to need to do), but does look the goods. Much better upside than the douchebag we traded to Carlton, huh?

We just need to learn to keep playing him deep in the forward line when he's not on the ball and kick it to him on a regular basis. He has the agility to outmark most backman contested, and can also lead.

We (BF supporters) also need to keep it in perspective, and not do a circle jerk every time he's listed. Unlike the other mob.

I personally reckon that ANY yuong player coming to Freo has to shave their head. Show them that having hair is not a right, just like getting a game. You have to earn the right to get on. After they show themsleves dedicated, then they can move onto the whack edgy crap some players eventually end up doing.

It would be great for the team building, spiit building, overall cohesion of the team. Army style rompers on the first day at training. get on it Freo

But hey, thats just me

You do realise that Naitanui had an operation on his knee this preseason right? Then only played a month of WAFL to get his fitness up before being thrown in at the deep end? (I say deep end because in his second and third games he didn't even have a recognised ruckman as a backup?)

I'll be the first to admit he is raw, and his fitness isn't what it should be (with good reason), however he has also won a game off his own boot in just his second game.

Yeah, we're aware of it. And that he's raw, and his fitness is off.
Both players have a few years to develop, and both will be very good for their respective clubs.

However, NicNat is not a forward's arseh*le. No perception of where to place himself when the ball is coming in, and gets very few possessions away from ruck contests. That is what Salim Malik pointed out.

And unlike the WCE circle jerk over 1 quarter of football (did he really win the game off his own boot did he? A whole 3 goals??), we're not getting ahead of ourselves with Clarke. Other than to be very pleased with his output after Sandi struggled in the 2nd half yesterday.

At the minute Nic nat is a watcher ,has no idea where to get a kick, runs from contest to contest and gets there late .At the moment no idea on reading the play. The game he so called won of his own boot the ball found him.Not saying he wont be a great player but he has got a lot to learn and at this stage the stork has it over him.Lets hope for both clubs there potentials are fully realised.

So? Natanui has never had good endurance, and he may never have.

Does his operation mean he can't kick? Can't bounce?

Clarke on the other hand has absolutely phenomenal endurance, brain and skills.

Is this the one who you want to boof?

Thanks for that, chief. :D

The hair has gotta stay... I'm a fan. We dont want to have half the team running around as baldies like Geelong. Play like geelong, yes... LOOK like geelong, no thanks!!

Like it was said, he has showed more in the 3rd quarter than Warnock ever did.

It's not even a contest anymore out of who did better with the trade, because we got Nic Suban for nothing. We may be viewed as a horrible football club, but we sure as hell know how to pick ruckmen.

Good to see FFC employing new technologies - he looks like Harry O after this:
