I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with the Sweet FA, but at its best, it truly is a wonderful community. These last few months have been very difficult for me indeed, and it has been nice to be able to float by the Sweet FA as a bit of an escape. That has been true for the best part of the last 15 years, but particularly recently.

So I was a pretty big wheel down at the cracker factory on the StickCricket forum from, say, very early 2005 until 2009 or something. I can't remember when or why exactly, but the forum shut down. We had a fairly large fantasy cricket forum - just like the Sweet FA, but without all the Sweet FA elements and based on a different sport. That was run by two posters called Gossy and Gossy7.

At some point, a new competition started up using Qooty. It might have been called the SSFFL or similar. I actually captained our league against the Sweet FA in 2007 or something in an inter-league carnival, which I like to remind Mobbs of at every possible opportunity.

I remember playing StickCricket for the first time in 2005. I vaguely remember the forum too, but I don't believe I ever posted.
