win this week and I reckon we'll win the flag.

port rely on run and play on confidence- squeeze the life out of them and watch them capitulate.

Give them space and it will be a mighty battle.

Balla was the difference last time. Odds in their favour now.

Fyfe coming in more than offsets Ballas. Remember we beat Hawthorn without Ballantyne? Crozier kicked 3 goals in that game and has proven his mercurial talents this year around the goals.

Ballaz did play well but if Crozier plays like he did against the hawks and cats. We'll have that 2nd loose forward but I agree with ya Ballaz's kicking at set shots from anywhere is generally very good other than sydney (where i think he was worrying about his jaw more than anything)

Haven't been confident all week but I'm feeling better about the game the closer it gets.

The home crowd will play a huge part in the game

Reckon we can beat Port this week Hawthorn another story then Sydney hard gig trying to win a premiership.
Shat off for some reason that Port have rebuilt and now look to be challenging for flags again must be because they have already one won.

Let's be honest, the Top 4 side coming off a Qualifying Final loss just does not lose in the Semi the week after. Happened twice since the system was introduced, but it is obviously a very rare occurrence. I would be over the moon if we got up this week and advanced to play Hawthorn, but I'm not getting my hopes up too high.
even Freo win this week and loose to Hawthorn. i think Freo season review is not that great, remenber they are Gand finalist last year

Neither would ports, you guys were clear on top before losing two key players.

All the other top four had injuries too...

And that's why we got a tough draw this year. Injuries haven't helped either, as we really missed Walters for 20 games, McPharlin for 9 games and Fyfe for 4 games.

The losses against the Saints and North cost us big time.

Port on the other hand have now seen the benefits of the draft picks associated with under performing ever since that disgraceful performance in the 2007 Grand Final.

Straight sets might not be a bad thing for Freo. I highly doubt we will win the GF therefore if Freo lose this match they will get draft picks before Sydney, Port, Hawks and Geelong. This may be of great benifit seeing as Freo are in direct competition with these clubs each season.
