You are kidding me right, 4-4, as if we are gonna be that when round 9 rolls around. We will beat at least 6-2 or 7-1. I mean, we beat a full strength Melbourne side without our vice captain Nick Holland. So when we do have him at Centre-Half forward thatll allowed other players to be freed up etc etc meaning more goals for Hawthorn. 39 points was a terrific win on a horrible day for footy.

Hmmm, checked your draw. I'll even give you 7-1 now. But I'll be p*ssed if it's 8-0. Should be a good one on Saturday. I expect it will be closer than last year, especially if Crawford doesn't get any gift frees for a goal for having his hair messed up (a la 1st qtr last year). But I suspect that won't happen as Dent's playing for you guys now (assuming he's not suspended).

Checked your site. Very impressive. But I couldn't bring myself to read the match report. Quite happy to read about a Melbourne loss but not that keen about Hawthorn wins. Already heard too much about them this month.

Hawthorn will most likely be 7-1 by the time Round 9 rolls around, and the MCG is vacnt on the Sunday afternoon. Hopefully some common-sense will prevail and the game will be shifted. If it is a 1 v 2 clash it could quite easily draw up to 70,000 people.

first time for a while for the hawks and they could be 8-0, the fans would want to see a good game after 4 relatively easy matches so close to 40000 hawk fans will be there dont worry about that!! colonial wont have a hope of fitting them in, and it would be funny to let it happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm keeping a lid on it. Melbourne seem headed for bottom 4 this year and unless Carlton overcome their optus 'hoodoo' they won't go far either.

But Hawks were only borderline for the eight last year and the colonic sold out (with no advance warning and only a 46,000 crowd) so it should always be at a bigger ground.

I can't see it happening as the Bombers and Collo are money hungry and will fight it to the death.

But chew on this, Hawks supporters, If we wanted a win might the game be beteer at colonial ? Hawthorn's record is much better there than the MCG.

And as for unbeaten, the next four teams are Bulldogs, Adelaide, Saints, Eagles - all im melbourne or Tasmania. Seems to me the biggest threat is the Hawk's own complacency

It just underlines that as essendon get the biggest crowds (as dan keeps reminding us) then it's games against Victorian sides should be at the MCG.

I would be willing for a couple of hawtorn home games v Intestate sides to be moved to colonial if games against Essendon, Collingwood, Carlton were always at the 'G"
