Strange foods you eat

Not necessarily strange, but......

Cheese and Vegemite sandwiches.

Often take them to work. Bega strong and bitey cheese with fresh Tip Top bread.

20 years ago I was putting mayonnaise on certain pizzas, pretty common now though. I enjoy eating sausage rolls with hot English mustard.

I dont think I have any strange foods I enjoy. I mean living in Portugal my mother in law makes some far out dishes like Ox Tail and pigs ear type dishes. Ive tried and are delicious but in two years ive eaten once. I cant think of anything else. Lods of cod dishes and snacks. Not a big fan and tend to avoid. I do like to get the grilled octopus at seafood restaurants though. Its delicious.

A good SA pasty are the best

I watched beard meets food and he was in Arizona somewhere I think and he had a giant cornish pasty challenge. Oh my it looked delicious. Any good Australian would have probably demolished it.

Ever had grasshopper. Had it in Thailand when I worked there years ago. Couldnt get the wings out of between my teeth no matter how much I flossed. Tasted like shit as well.

Yes not good I agree. Scorpion in China and piranha in Brazil were actually more,palatable

I loved most of Thai food , maybe not off the street. In our staff canteen on occasions, they served a fish. (Fk'd if if know what it was) but the Thai's would eat every portion of it. All that was left was the skeletal head. The teeth on the head were like Piranha teeth. Freeked me out.

Some Northern Europeans liked their pickled Carp.

they have dried pigs intestines on display at the deli section in the supermarket. Chicken hearts, livers, feet are also on display to buy in bulk.
