The Rich/Melb/Ess side was just wearing Melbourne's royal jumper, so nothing too unusual like 4 jumpers on the field at once.
Although both sides wore white shorts for some reason:

Yeah I didn't expect there to be four different guernseys out on the field 😂 More so the different Guernsey/shorts combos.

Getting some SANFL WWII vibes where the 8 teams merged into 4 for a year.

But still... That's amazing

What the fu** is the context to this?
I believe this may have been the launch of Virgin Credit Cards (which became the Current Westpac Ingnite card) back in the early 2000s.
The gimmick was that you could pick the colour of your card from a choice of about five or six colours.
Branson has a girl painted in each of the colour options with him when he was out promoting the card.
Black was one of the colour options.

I played local footy with a dude that used a Franklin baseball glove, it had absolutely no grip on it and as a result if he didn't take it on the chest, it went straight through. But when he went into the ruck he was punching some serious distance at ball ups.

They're sticky as hell swinging a bat! You know, using them for what they're for ;)

It is virtually impossible to find a football glove though. Coming back from a thumb injury I was looking at getting one. Cannot find the old Franklin footy gloves anywhere

I just seen footage of Melbourne having a training session. Some of the players appeared to be in clash socks. I didn’t think they still used them. Would anyone know how many times they were worn in the last decade??

this was on the news yesterday with the sad passing of Neil Scache. 1975, first year of colour tv. Imagine only a couple of years before the same game would have looked so much different and darker. The Bulldogs would've had the traditional hoops with black shorts and Fitzroy would’ve had the darker blue instead of royal, maroon instead of red and white instead of gold. Good old technicolor 1970’s.

Shows you how much of a difference shorts can make to providing a contrast too. It's a shame the days of light shorts (non-white) have been gone for so long.

Essendon is the main one I think of with this. They wore their red shorts for longer than the Bulldogs, until Sheedy stopped the red shorts in about 1984? But Essendon with red shorts really helps with clashes against Richmond, Carlton and Collingwood and they can still use their beloved traditional jumper.

Found on Marketplace, never seen it before. I'm pretty certain it's some kind of prototype going off the '2018' on the back and the collar which matches the collar of the quick prototype Majestic mocked up when their deal for 2018 onwards was announced.
