Ability to make jokes at Collingwood's expense? Wouldn't be suprised. It ain't hard to do when you're talking about a Club run by a Game-Show host with only one-successful year in the past half-century. And then there are the annual Collingwood draft blunders, plus the hilarious overhype-implosion-then-excuse thing the Pies do so well. Very very funny.

Helliar has completely stolen Ricky Gervais' David Brent and applied it to AFL.

The only difference is that he is not funny, Gervais is.

It lacks the best part about David Brent though - People play along with Strauchnie, as though he is good.

Nobody ever had a bar of any of the crap that David Brent served up, which is why it was so awkwardly hiliarious.
