I’m thinking of buying a 4k bluray player at the same time F1 is released on 4k disc so I can watch a movie I’m going to see on the screen next weekend

Have any of you physical media collectors ordered stuff from Shout/Scream Factory?
Just saw online that Shout has released a 4K restoration of Hard Boiled and will be releasing The Killer in Jan 26. But alas they dont distribute outside US/Canada. Wondering how I can get my hands on these bad boys.

not familiar with should/scream factory. but scoped ebay and have seen pre-sales posting to australia.

Also found presales of the Shout 4K restoration of Hard Boiled on an aussie website called tapestore, will look into whether its a legit site and post an update for those interested.

Have ordered a few but via other sellers on ebay. Either way expect to pay $$$ more than you really should.

I got the Shout version of the Point Break 4K mid last year from an ebay seller.

Streaming is convienent until it isnt anymore. Movies shift around streaming platforms or disappear completely if its not a popular title.

Second hand blurays are cheap and if you want convience then rip them to an PC or NAS system and stream via the Plex app.

Used Tapestore to order these, can confirm its legit (and has a decent catalogue of arrow/shout/criterion etc).
