shades the fab 4 from the Eagles IMO

Cousins, Judd, Kerr, Embley (Fletcher's been demoted after an injury effected 06, and Embley wont the Norm Smith so has moved up )

However again IMO the eagles midfield depth would be stronger with the next tier

The Eagles overall depth might just be a touch better, but when Brisbane has 4 of the best in Voss, Aker, Black and Lappin leading the front, its hard to go past them

As for quality, West Coast shades Brisbane IMO. It comes down to the ruckman because other than that you cannot split them, and Cox has more ability than Keating ever did.

It's very hard to split them. The quality is cornucopia.

Eagles due to one man : Dean Cox. Brisbane never had anyone like Dean Cox or anyone in the same league as him. Hes included in our midfield when talking about them and hes one of the best going around.

Personally i think the comaprisons would be better served as

Voss - Cousins - Both highly decorated veterans, tenacious leaders of the clubs and tough as nails. Voss was obviously bigger and able to be more physical but Cousins isn't weak by any stretch of the imagination.

Aker - Judd - Both game breakers of the highest order. Can be quiet for the majority of a match but turn it on when it matters to win games for their side

Black - Kerr - Both in and under players. However both have outstanding all-round games to go with their in and under work rates

Lappin - Embley - The unsung heroes of the group. Often can sneak under the radar and do the things the other team don't focus on as the other 3 big names get all the attention. I freely admit this is a bit of a stretch though given that Lappin is top notch and a very classy player

But like i said even on those comparison the Brisbane fab 4 would shade the Eagles fab 4
