Stuff the Poms, lets play India every second year!

India have the advantage when playing Australia of having pitches perfectly prepared for them home and away.

Yeah because if history has shown us anything, it's how much their bowlers and batsmen alike thrive in fast and bouncy conditions.

maybe open the other eye when India are visiting...each test venue should just be renamed after that states favorite highway

It has been blatant how much they have tried to make India competitive on flat lifeless batting havens
EVERY BLOOODY TEST

Last tour they drew twice, and in hindsight probably should have drawn the series save for a collapse with victory in sight in Adelaide.

Two tours before that, Clarke had to take three wickets in an over at about 6.28pm on day five to earn a series win.

The tour before that, Australia scrounged a draw seven wickets down in the final test to earn a series draw.

Realistically since 2004 only SA and England have out performed India in Australia.

Last tour they were crap and the flat pitches were the only thing that prevented 4-0. They were on their knees in both draws and the game they "should" have won involved 2 very sporting declarations. Australia scored at an average of about 52 runs per wicket.

They were good in 2003/2004 and 2007/2008 though.

And they won't anytime soon either, next time they tour they can expect a pace battery of Stark-Hazlewood-Cummins and Pattinson, added bonus with that group is 3 of them can bat allowing us to play a specialist spinner as well.

I will spew if we dish up those pancake pitches again like last time. They completely nullified Johnson at the peak of his powers.

they give up too early. India throw the towel in against Australia about 2 tests in every series. They basically started talking "wait until you play us in india" half way through the last series.

One of their guys actually did say that to Michael Clarke in 2011/12.

Umpiring doesn't excuse that massive choke against Michael Clarke your gutless, and in one case racist tailenders had. Even if they survived that test for a draw, the series would have ended up level, not as a India win. I feel bad for other Indian fans who have to be associated with delusional clowns like you.

you are a clown. You don't even know the meaning of racist. Steve buknor did made many blunders which cost india the series. No matter whether you agree or not.

Move on from 2008, facts are Australia won the series.

Kohlis men will never win a series here when a much better team was never able to. Don't think Kohli will win a test here unlike Smith in India.

Kohli's team will definitely beat Australia in Australia. This is smith's last and best chance in India in this series where Indian players are drained after a big home season and played like clowns in first test.

Renshaw, Handscomb, Smith, Starc, Cummins and even the likes of Pattinson are in their 20's, this team is only going to get a lot stronger.

The Aussies have played plenty of cricket recently, no excuse for poor performance on Indias part.

Who is going to get the wickets for Indian

Ashin has been utter crap down here, Jadeja is an even bigger home track bully, Sharma is s**t.

Yadav is really the only threat

The bowlers lack any real penetration on these wickets.

Meaning how ever many they score they aren't really in the game.

Similar to Pakistan

India's best shot would actually be if we followed what they did in this series except with green tracks instead of real turners, we won't destroy them 4-0 on flatter decks here but i just don't see this indian bowling lineup taking 20 wickets cheaply enough to actually win on our dead tracks.

Reckon we could beat them 4-0 on flat wickets if we got Cummins and Pattinson up and about

how many times has yadav toured australia? only once. He is a much improved bowler now. Sharma bowls well in australia and shami will come back. Maybe some new pacer too.

who is going to get the wickets for Indian? what kind of english is that?

jadeja has improved a lot and also has a 6 wicket haul in SA. Sharma can be effective in australia. Shami is going to come back. Maybe some other pacer too.

No one is giving excuse. But indians has played even more cricket than australia. No excuse for such a rubbish performance against the weakest team to tour asia.

It all depends on the form at that time and injuries. You can only predict but things do not always go according to prediction.

By that theory, Kholi could be averaging 35 by the time he comes back to Australia.

Well we play them the same regularity.

But make 5 tests here and there, 4 is just odd

Wouldn't work, there'd be minimal time to play anyone else.

Cricket Australia has a policy of only playing 5 Test matches against England.

India and England regularly play 5 Test matches against each other, in both countries.

Just because it's a policy doesn't mean it's right.

I know it's a silly question but why only 5 against England?

If we played an extra test and sacrificed Odis they would make more money
