I might be dumb or something, but why is it that sometimes when I post a reply and I check later my reply doesnt go through. And sometimes I see a thread that says it has six replies, but when I look it up it only has 3 or 4. Can someone explain this?

When you look at the relevant page you are getting the most recent copy your ISP has stored in cache.

By hitting F5 or Refresh, you are asking for a new copy of the html file to be generated from the (BigFooty) server.
