I've seen some decent Port sides go to Unley and get their arses handed to them, once by 19 goals. This one flew out the door in a burst of 5 goals in the last. They hung in there for most of the match and with an actual coach might have pinched it.

Was a shit of a ground and even worse on a wet day.

Yep, although we didn’t really invest in the draft properly over the previous 2 years. We could end up with two consecutive years of no AFL quality draftees between the McCallum-Scully-Marshall and Anastosopoulos-Charleson-Lorenz drafts. Lorenz is our only hope really to prevent that and he hasn’t started the year that great.

Had no absolutely no business getting the job, and it’s gone pretty much as most of us predicted. Four wins from 20 outings is abysmal.

The guy’s a glorified hanger-on, still mates socially with most of the players. Imagine looking to him for some sort of inspiration or leadership. Pathetic. A disappointment as a player and his coaching going similarly.

The decision to appointment Hartlett looks like just making coaching moves for the sake of it to look like you’re doing something.
