I was a fan of his first couple of years but had almost given up on him thinking that that the likes of Neale, Sutcliffe, Crozier had gone past him but fair play to him. He was good tonight. Keeps his spot on that outing and that is what you want. Players playing for their jumper next week every time they go out there.

He can play the game but Clancie was a better option and is playing the role more like Ross wants.

Clancie has the ability to go through the midfield and give support to that group as well.

He will have to tighten up when the opposition has the ball but his disposial is 1st class
We look so much better when we hit tragets coming out of defence .

I liked that Suban right foot pass to hit Pav on the tit in the second half. Sublime skill off both feet. Suban's issue has always been getting that potential around the ground, and to enough contests, to be worthwhile to the team and he is doing that.

Well I hope Suban can play like this all season because if he and the others that have failed to show anything in the last couple years do we will be in the grand final no doubt. His body fat percentage is the lowest I've seen too.

Mundy was serviceable , had the most clangers on the team but for the most part played his role. Didn't really notice him too much.

I would have given the medal to Suban, Barlow or maybe Griffin.

Watched Gaff run in for the ball, slowed down when the ball was 1 metre away surrounded by two freo players.
Then Hesitated to go in. Instead Suban went in, shrugged him off and hand balled out.

You take Mundy out of the team and replace him with Priddis and I don't really see any difference to our team. Mundy had some influence on the game no doubt, but he's paid an elite midfielders wage. Was he up to the standard of Sam Mitchel, Gary Ablet or Jobe Watson? No. He played his part and wasn't bad. He was caught lazy on the defensive end a couple times and had 4 clangers.

Suban on the other hand actually kicked goals (these win you games) and kicked rather well I thought, combined with hardness at the contest. I'm not dissing Mundy's game because he was ok, but I'm not sure why people are playing it up to be more than it was.

Mundy lazy? Mate, you are allowed to make bad calls from time to time. Just admit you were wrong about him and move on. Priddis wasn't in Mundy's class. Not even close. I think Priddis had about 39%DE. Mundy ran both ways and started a lot of plays from stoppages for Freo.

I loved the radiating passion and the sheer aggressiveness of Suban. He was hard-at-it all game and worked tirelessly to get the job done. He was dishing up handballs left, right, and centre. He blocked, bumped and tackled like a madman.
