Played really well on Friday night.. seemed to be our switch target from the back 50m. If Fyfe gets rubbed out, expect him to step into the Centre square more often where he is at his best

I thought Subes was one of the better players out there tonight in the first half - but did fade a fair bit in the second half, good to see him sticking tackles right to the end though...

I love suban. Not exactly an A-grade player. He doesnt take crap from anyone. I remember the 2nd quarter when a collingwood player dragged him on the ground by his shirt, he went back up and fought back. Love the guy.

Pretty sure it was him through the umpire mic yelling "Yeah you would you c***", at Heath Shaw after the Ballantyne nut punch.

Am I the only one who doesn't think Shaw hit him???

Got no where near him, I'm baffled as to how our medical team could send a report back to the AFL for the charge.

Although we got a goal out of it I cringed, I thought Hayden was finally above that staging stuff.

Yeah it does look like he milked it a bit but Shaw did intentionally throw his arm out towards his nuts...so I guess that's the part that counts.

Utter crap,Shaw hit him and got time for it

Its pissing me of the vilification that Ballas is copping from the media ,opp supporters and even some of our own supporters who by their comments havent got any idea or just go along with the herd mentality .
Balla bleeds purple is one of the bravest players that Ive seen and deserves a little respect
Ive never cringed at anything Balla has done in his efforts to get 4 points for the club

Valid point about the intent. I would of reacted the same way as Ballaz if someone threw a punch to my groin as well, even if it doesn't connect, just instinct. Just the fact that he pleaded to the umpire "HE HIT ME IN THE NUTS!", even though he didn't really make contact doesn't sit right with me. That's just my opinion though.

I've got nothing against Balla, and I'm actually enjoying his footy. He used to have issues of overacting but he's gotten past that. I just see acting as a real low form, similar to how the eagles throw their heads back, just grinds my gears. But different people are seeing different things from that footage, some say he connected, some don't. If he did then Ballaz has all the right to do what he wants as it is a disgusting thing to be hit there. I however, just believe he didn't make contact. Play on.
