Deserve one year contract extension if he keep getting 27 possession. He is free agent too .

Will he get 27 touches when a fit S.Hill comes back along side Blakely, Langdon, Fyfe playing mid, Bennell. Probably not. Then he's just a 28yo Peel player next year. Surely he suffers the same fate as a de Boer, Mzungu, Barlow this year.

I will only offer him one year deal though , look at d Pearce and Lee spurr .

Can you post in main board suban unrestricted free agent . I just want to see the reaction. I actually don't mind him playing for peel . Ethan ,blakely ,langdon all play for peel at one stange.
 
The last 2 games have been very good. Maybe fatherhood has taught him something. If he maintains the rage for the last 8 rounds and he'll get a contract extension. Should be able to sign him relatively cheaply. Won't leave the state and drag a new Mrs and baby, so we'll have no competition to retain him.
 
Despite the limitless knowledge and insight of Bigfooty's keyboard coaches, Suban gets games purely and simply because he's good enough at what the match committee want done.
Plenty of it unnoticed.
Impossible for self appointed experts to get used to but them's the facts.
All the lovechild/favourite sextoy horseshite doesn't have a place in modern elite sport.

He's played 150 games mate. The club isn't looking at his week by week form at Peel before deciding whether to pick him or not. He wasn't in good form before he came back into the side, he came back because we had injuries.

His last 2 games before getting a recall he had 13 and 15 disposals in the WAFL. Hardly making the selectors pick him.

This is the part of the post where I'd make some condescending comment about you being bright but you just ain't.

He is playing a good game . Let's put it this way , if he perform well , some club might offer him better money or freo can use him as depth .

K mete.Injuries are always part of the equation.
The club declared he was in good form prior to selection.
Doubtless you'll be able to provide 150 posts of mindless sophistry to prove otherwise.

No 150 posts, just again pointing out that his last 2 games at Peel he had 13 touches and 15 touches. In the WAFL.

It's got FA to do with form and everything to do with Lyon's rigid gameplan. His gameplan relies on a a bullocking midfielder. Fyfe is injured so Suban gets picked to do that. He does ok so he gets picked to do the same job again next week and Fyfe plays forward.

News flash: Football club media press releases aren't always 100% honest.
 
As I said before I know you always keep up and so you'll know the club's coaches specifically stated 'he has not got a lot of touches but is in good form'.

Club coaches lie non stop. I don't give a shit what they said. If you believe everything the coaches say in the media you are gullible as shit.

If you believe Marc Webb's Peel reports every single player is tearing it up every single week. Clubs don't give out negative player reviews to the media for obvious reasons.

Interesting and perhaps surprising come back from Suban in the last two games. On the positive side there has been less dumb free kicks (about one a game which is much better) his biggest issue for mine.

Watching the game live, he had a tagging job and was in the centre square at almost every bounce. So his influence was central to our clearances.

The second issue with Suban was the total lack of possessions which again he has improved in the last two games.

The bonus of a in form Suban is that he can do the tagging and creating space role which allows you to release Blakley in a more productive role.

I don't see a long term future for him and he will be out very quickly if his form drops but whilst he is making a obvious and current solid contribution I don't mind seeing him get a game. Certainly won't be the best ever Freo player to 150 but i will still applaud the effort.
