Hey all,

Pretty simple one - going to the game on Sunday, don't want to pay for overpriced food and drink at the game.

Will security get shirty with me if I bring in a lunchbox? Only attended a handful of games over the years, so never bothered before, but this time im going with a group and I don't want to be forking out $$$ for overpriced sh*t.

I know booze is a no-no, but what about a couple of sausages and some bread?

You wouldn't be thinking of parking at Bunnings in Salvado Road would you?

So glad this wasn't a whinge about food prices. People who do that I say bring your own lunch/dinner. I always bring a roll, you can bring in as much food as you like! just no opened bottles of liquid or any tins & cans.

I usually don't bother buying anything food wise and only have the occasional beer but made the mistake of buying a pulled pork burger and soft drink at the Bulldogs match. Got a piece of silver back from a lobster for a very average burger and slightly chilled drink

Won't make that mistake again

I never buy food at Subiaco Oval always bring my own.

I go with my brother and its one beer each and that set us back the better part of $ 20 for two drinks......so we sip slowly. ;)

Then the Eagles were playing like dynamite & you said 'let our corporate box eat cake & drink beers as fast as they want bro'.
Full on joking Monocle..banter:)

As part of my role as a Very Important Person I have sampled the food at Subi from the humblest warmer pie, through the corporate suites to the sit downs with the presidents. And I can categorically say it is all ashes and heartbreak.

If you can't wait 3 hours without some food then by all means BYO.

Full strength beer won't get approved and tbh I don't think I particularly care - there's too many idiots that can't behave properly with a skinfull of piss under their belts, spoils it for the ones that can drink responsibly but that's the way these things go

Living overseas, it doesn't affect me. I agree it won't get approved. Personally, I hate being treated like a child so would like access to full strength beers if I choose but think most others behave like children, so they should only have access to mid-strength or water...
