Subi curse?

Every year at least one good player from an interstate club suffers a horrible injury at Subiaco Oval..Knee injuries being the most common.

Is it really a curse or there's something wrong with the ground??

Apparently its too hard

2001 had Stevo do his knee there in about about 17 - cost me the bloody AFL fantasy footy that year

was coming third overall and he was my trump card

Nope. If anything, which is debatable, it's too soft in places.

I thought Subi was ok this year, I mean I can't remember any injuries that could be remotely blamed on the ground, this year.

Watch the AFL have a look at the Gabba after the latest incident.

Overall Colonial (or whatever they call it) is the ground that worries me. Pathetic surface.

From the commentary of that Jones incident, it appeared that it was more poor technique in executing the slide that caused his injury. Still sad though.

Only knee injury at Subiaco in 2002 was Ben Holland (Richmond) from memory. I think they have fixed up most of the problem areas now.

Nothing wrong with the ground. If there was then the Eagles and Dockers would be full of casualties.

Colonial is the real problem.
