I'M on a foley, selwood horror run at the moment foley's selection was to get me ahead of everyone playing rookies in the mids by a few points before I upgraded him r7. Works a treat so far.
I just hope selwood's ok for next week... Looked like a nasty hit. At least the 25 points only affects his rolling average for one week.

With reports Otten will be the sub, I traded him out for a rookie, when he is about to go up in price (round 5, Adelaide bye in Rd 2), he should be prime for the pickings and should be a lock for Adelaides best 21 by that stage.

Obviously, if he is injured, you dont get him, whilst if someone I have already gets injured, I have cover in my backs that I can trade the injured player out and trade in Otten with cover still around.

Selwood will still score more points overall than Bartel by season's end, just a bit of bad luck to begin with. Better to get the crap score out of the way early rather than having it in his rolling average mid-season where those without him have a much better chance of upgrading to him on the cheap.

Brodie Smith my first sub of the season.... porp's is looking injured however... i don't like the fact you're looking for guys to get injured so your guy can get on the field :-/

with the sub if they don't come on does that count as a game played for super coach rolling salaries??

ah what can you do? Someone's gonna get split open every week, same happened to me as happened to you, plus I had Yarran. Apparently Foley had the shits midweek, so you'd expect him to get through the game this week.

I read all the posts here saying its fine everyone has Krak

this is where sub scores stuff up three round averages

Not knowing Subs is going to cause a lot of pain this year...my opponent( a 2300 av coach) left Mckernan, Adelaide in with Matera Emergency..lol...now Kraks out and he has no emergency so benefits me this week.

However, there are a lot of Anthony coaches out there who don't get the emergency

ShiZen sub selections.... Thankfully I don't have Anthony! Although the emergencies don't come into play with the sub.... Unless the sub doesn't play ( not sure on this but it won't happen anyway).

Krakeour as a sub makes no difference with an emergency - he's still playing, he's just probably playing bugger all. His score will still count regardless of whether or not he takes the field at all.

The thing is that they actually played well last week. that's an easy 100 points gone there despite having swan as captain.

I've got no doubt the sub rule has cost me a vast amount of points this week.

Krak, Shaw and Gaff all affected.

Then you have others who had Jack, but seemingly get the emergency scores.

If the mark had been paid, as I thought it would/should have been. Then jack would have received points and the emergency could not be used.

last year had drummond, and got injured in first couple of minutes, but made a spoil and therefore received a few points
