North could of won by 4 goals and we still wouldn't be the laughing stock this week. Which is really nice :)

The next two games we play Adelaide at the G, and Richmond - both very winnable.

Could you imagine if we won today? We could have been 3-1 in a few weeks time. Ah well i'll take 2-2 :D

Great to see the boys show some ticker today.
Holding off my judgements about how good/bad Bailey/Miller/Sculgove etc are, but at least today we showed we can move in the right direction as a club.
But lets not get carried away from one game.
A lot of work to be done.
Go dees!

listen guys. i am pretty tight with alot of the Melbourne players. and some of them read bigfooty (nath jones), i so i think that all you guys shouldnt get carried away, we are still 0-2 FFS!!! when the players see this "success" they may actually think that losing by one point is good enough of us supporters, its NOT!!! get a grip and give the boys their "success" when they actually give us some. by WINNING! you remember what that was like? 4 points?

we are on the bottom!!! FFFFFFFFFFF!!!!

Also think we have a very hard task against Adelaide, tipped to be a top 8 team will be throwing everything at us to try and get there season started.

Lol bs has a red card. Probably what's funnier is as I'm on the iPhone typing this I spelt bs bd and it auto corrected to bs. Lol much funny :)

Why the red BS?

It's weird but this season has been a rollercoaster of emotions and it is only round 2.

As always we had the new year optimism which was quickly tempered by poor results and a string of injuries to key players.

Then we had the round 1 belting and the mood of 2007-2009 returned, it seemed like another long year loomed. It was hard to see Bailey's game plan and the players showed very little appetite for the contest.

Oh and how quickly things turn around again. All week predictions were for a second belting of biblical proportions yet the team finally showed the spirit and passion we have long been waiting for. Also, we played a good brand of football, not the reverse panic handball rubbish but some good direct corridor football.

Obviously a win would of been the best result but a close loss is sure better then a non competitive belting. Yes we still have a long way to go, but some baby steps int he right direction sure beat giant strides backwards.

Now we just need some of our injured players to return and to continue to play with the guts we played with against Collingwood and the long awaited resurgence mmight get underway.

Now for a good perfomance against a dangerous Adelaide who will also be backs against the wall and we can start looking forward to the football again.
