Just wow, what a way to do it out of the blue and with no real final say from Logan himself. Cold hearted but truly brilliant episode.

On a worse note there’s some pretty bad things coming out about the actor who plays Greg currently too, doesn’t exactly paint the whole disgusting brothers thing in a great light in hindsight :|

They way they kept him off camera for so long what just amazing really. Guessing all the way through

This was the genius of the episode.

Halfway through I had to check myself, because like Roman I kept thinking there was a chance he pulls through when rationally I probably knew he was gone long before Tom makes that first call to Shiv.

In a lot of ways, the show really starts now. 'Succession' was never going to happen if Logan was still around - it basically fulfils the promise of the first episode.

And just quietly - I think Alan Ruck, in limited minutes, is doing some of the best work this season. Has had some truly amazing lines that's delivered tragically but just incredibly perceptive.

Need to watch that episode again. The whole time I thought it was a hoax and everyone on the plane was in on it.
It was genius not showing Logan.

It created the feeling like the kids had of it not feeling "real".

Great episode, terrific acting from the three leads.

The show probably needed this circuit breaker, and it certainly keeps things interesting for the next seven episodes.

Between it and Barry ending, it feels like we're really seeing the end of the truly great shows still on at the moment.

The whole sequence seriously felt so suffocating. The abruptness of it, the scramble for his kids to even comprehend the situation let alone find the right thing to say - all unfolding amidst the constant thudding of hopeless chest compressions. I was wriggling in discomfort cos of how real it felt to me.
Texted my mum to make sure it hadn't brought up any rough feelings for her after she lost her dad a bit over a year ago.

Only gripe is the Binge app on xbox is a POS and kept buffering and crashing.

"But, ultimately, he felt the character of Logan Roy would consider “Connor’s Wedding” a happy episode. “I think this is actually how he would like to go,” said Armstrong. “He’s on a private plane flying to do the biggest deal, he goes out at exactly the right moment and he goes off pretty quickly and painlessly, and his kids whispering in his ear that they loved him. I think it’s a very happy episode.”

He is really doing a fabulous job with a tricky role- he doesn’t get the brilliant lines and flair of the other siblings but he’s really made something of it.

Kenny's the man. Just needs to not melt down again. His strategy and business reasoning is superior even nearly better than the old man who while built the empire relied on intimidation and yelling.
Shiv is ruthless but lacks smarts. Roman is hot and cold and a child.
Connor actually grew up. Marriage a great juxtaposition to Shiv and toms.
Still find Greg annoying as ****. Don't get the appeal
Best part is how the board will manovoure. Karl and Karolina the main players. Don't know if Gerri and the other old guy have it in them.
Tom is stuffed really chucked his eggs in the wrong basket.
One who intrigues is Marcia. Will return and if never divorced is right in it.
Kerry or the current squeeze only really had o E play and it's gone (only other play is get knocked up quick and claim Logan's to get a quick payout

I don't think I've ever gotten the vibe that any of those kids (Tom included) were capable of taking the reigns.

Smartest thing they could do is let it go, collect their $2b payouts and play smaller.

That scene where they 'have a look at the china'!

Tom offers to put his hat in the ring for CEO, then stuffs his face with fish taco. Karl comes back with

"If we were to recommend you to the board, the question they might ask... Can I frame the question for you? As a friend. The negative case would go, 'You’re a clumsy interloper and no one trusts you. The only guy pulling for you is dead. And now, you’re just married to the ex-boss’s daughter and she doesn’t even like you. And you are fair and squarely ****ed'.”

Brutal and hilarious at the same time.
