My take on it was that he was hearing his dad's voice in his head from their dinner when he asked how long the kid was alive for before he succumbed to drowning and that he was trying to learn that himself.

Yes, when I saw the bubbles in the water that's what I thought he was doing as well!

I just finished season 3.

It's a good show but the first 3-4 episodes were a bit of filler as you just knew Kendall wasn't going to come out on top.

For me personally the show isn't in the conversation for best of all time.

The plot finally moves along in the fourth season although still quite sceptical if it will deliver a grand finish.

That was a great scene. Credit to the writers and both actors. A significant line was when Shiv said “Well that’s not very nice, is it?” after Tom said she was not a good person to have children. They have a complex relationship with a lot of playful and sometimes acerbic barbs thrown back and forth, but that felt like a moment of raw honesty after being hurt by his comment. Shiv and Tom often don't like each other but maybe only people who love each other can cause hurt like that. And they seem to be good in bed together. And she's got Tom's baby in her tummy! I'm tipping they have the baby, give up all their riches and live in a trailer park

Best bit was the end.
Good night get the **** out of my house.
No coming back from that. Shows the dynamics of relationships. By voicing their hurt but calling the other out and basically hurting them back that isn't really recoverable.
Kendall making his move. Knows Lukas is full of shit and playing it to his advantage. Roman misplaced again with Conrad. Maybe what he thought it was a carrot but misread Connor and the situation. Going after Willa was the final straw. Misread their dynamic totally.
Shiv has backed the wrong horse. But knows she was probably screwed either way. Was in a no win position the second they became CEO bros.

Also in the argument and it keeps getting referred to but a plot whole
Why the hell would've Tom and FfS Greg gone to prison?
It's like yeah I'll volunteer without context.
Tom was parachuted into cruises and wasn't anywhere near that department when it went down and Greg wasn't even in the company. (People can't just plead guilty and volunteer to take the conviction for someone else)
The other plot stuff and arguments sort of link but that's just ridiculous.
(Fwiw Logan may have been in trouble but would've used the not told excuse, Gerri if she covered concealed evidence). Guy who was running it if there was a cover up intimidation policy would've been the one in the gun.

That was a great scene.

It mashes well with Connor and Willa.
They were honest and yeah not ideal but it's a good deal we could make a marriage work.
With Tom and Shiv their honesty just exposed how toxic they are together.
And a baby added.
Where if Willa were to be knocked up sure the relationship isn't marriage convention 101 but wouldn't be a damaging environment for the kid necessarily

I wonder if Lukas is playing them. We've previously seen him always one step ahead of the Roy kids (and the show loves a plot twist). If Waystar goes for a counter takeover it will massively boost the Gojo share price. We know Kendall's numbers for Living+ are dodgy. But we only have Lukas and Ebba's gossip for the low Indian subscriber numbers.

Lukas - "I thought these people would be complicated, but it’s basically just money and gossip."

If the Indian numbers hold up we could be looking at a reverse reverse Viking!

If Waystar tries to buy GoJo why would it boost GoJo's share price? That's not how the market works. If Waystar offers to buy GoJo at $x per share, GoJo's share price will revert to that.

That is one of the best episodes of any tv show ever. Far out. 90% of is it just people talking in rooms, but manages to make you really feel the full force of what’s at stake.

That was such an intense episode, so incredible. The full range of emotion from Ken and Roman backing Shiv at the start of the episode against Tom to being pitted against her by the end with her betrayal.

And tomorrow's the funeral. Each episode has literally just each been a day since his death.

They’re both terrible, they’re all terrible to be fair - I’ve never seen a show so well done where literally everybody is so unlikeable but you’re still so invested - constantly flipping between wanting everyone to fail & succeed. It was especially satisfying to see Shiv lose tonight though after her form this season.

Happy for someone to correct me if I'm wrong but the only thing that can screw them I believe, is if Jimenez has enough of the missing 100,000 votes to overtake Mencken in Wisconsin, which would mean Mencken loses the election. The news networks call states early all the time, it's just that this election basically comes down to that one state, and the margin is really too small to call it early with confidence.

It's an interesting situation and I don't know what the rules in the US are. I suspect here they would just re-vote the whole seat and the sitting government would stay in power until it was decided.

It makes me worried that this will give ideas to one of the many lunatics over there (in real life) to copy the idea.
