I'm ecstatic for Jennifer. She was my favourite player when she came on to the scent a decade ago and it wasn't easy to follow her. This will go down as my favourite women's final ever. Great stuff!!

I don't think Martina is that bad. She hasn't won a grand slam for two years and is battling the amazon women, the Williams' and Davenport against the odds. There were two controversial calls in the match against her and I think one of them she was hard done by so considering the circumstances she could have gone off worse than she did. It must be disappointing for her.

I have seen far worse on the tennis court. Martina worst outbursts were some time ago and she was a teenager trying to cope with a lot of pressure. I think she has turned things around very nicely in recent times. Gee, you would hate for your life to be judged on a couple of ill-advised misdemeanours wouldn't you?
