Just been on the Caaaarlton Board to read about their coaching possibilities now that pagan has gone. Not a single mention of Sumich. Why is that? I can think of two reasons;

1) He is an absolute Mummy's boy who doesn't want to leave home and go out into the scarey big wide world.

2) He is not considered to have the potential to be an AFL coach.

And decided a few weeks ago to run his campain for a coaching job at the Dockers through the media -- calling favours from the pro wce media to pump him up at every chance... to the point of over the top !!!

He ruin any chance of coaching the dockers by getting george,barra,karl, the western australian and the Hagdorn to do his bidding ...

He has obviously put in the calls to the WA media to try and get him the job. As Topdock said, it is probably this that will cost him even a small chance at the job. Fremantle would know that he has worked the media to try and pressure them and they dont like it.

It stund me that he has not left the fowl-feathered nest. For a start it indicates that he thinks he has nothing left to learn. Plus, it implies that he will not be able to cope with a new environment, which for us means that Freo would have the feel of West Coast Lite. Ewwww.

We'll see just how bad Sumich wants to coach at the end of the year. If he's as good as everyone tells us (I still can't get an answer as to why - it seems we are to just accept the opinions of those who know better than us), then not only will he apply for every job available, but he will also get one of them. My only hope is that it's not the Freo job.

I am hoping all things rest well with Harvey to be honest and he coaches us next year

When CC departed our shores and Harvs took over I was concerned that his heart wasn't fully purple given recent events; I guess that remains to be seen....but I do hope he does continue and take us to our first CUP

Suma was always my first choice but it is evident that a long history comes into play here that I obviously am not privvy to or have been informed about so I should just leave alone! I have to admit though that my opinions are drifting though.

Soooo.....go Harv's.

P.S. I hope he can squeeeeze out of the players their pure ability to get over CC's "wing clipping" and get on with it!!!!

its a shame to think that the players have waited all this year and need this sort of motivation to bring out thier best.
