I feel sorry for him, but any coach that isn't a "mega" coach (so to speak) knows what is coming to them after 1 or 2 seasons.
Even Capello isn't good enough for them.

If Mourinho doesn't get them past the 2nd round of the CL then no one can.

Liverpool have given the clearest indication yet that Rafael Benítez's six-year spell in charge is drawing to a close by offering their manager £3m to leave Anfield.
But that's half their transfer budget.

Our once proud club is the laughing stock of Europe. Sadly I can't see us finishing in the top 4 for the next 3 seasons.:(

Would've loved to see Pelegrini go to Anfield. Did a damn fine job with Villarreal and did pretty much everything he could with one arm tied behind his back at R.Madrid.

MON has resigned with immediate effect.

Martin O'Neill has resigned as Aston Villa manager with immediate effect.
Kevin MacDonald has been appointed caretaker boss while no reason has been given for O'Neill's decision to leave after four years in the job.

MacDonald will prepare the side for their Premier League opener against West Ham on Saturday.

O'Neill, appointed in 2006, said: "I have enjoyed my time at Aston Villa immensely. It's obviously a wrench to be leaving such a magnificent club."

Milner departure the catalyst
Nah he knew that was coming, apparently he was a little pissed off that RL wasnt going to allow him to reinvest the Milner $$ into new players rather it was going to help balance the books, also a few murmurs of Young heading off as well.
