Good. Very ordinary from Whiteman. Bowlers may as well just ditch the ball at the batsman after every delivery from now on.

Batsman was out of his crease so surely you can have a ping at the stumps.

Regardless of what you think of the appeal, it should be given out according to law IMO.

One of those ones where technically it is out but the ball wouldn’t have hit the stumps if he didn’t throw the bat at it anyway so it feels wrong to appeal it

JFM has been brought in a summer too early imo. He is very promoting but the hype he gets from commentators is way too much. Kids got a ton of talent and I hope we don’t * his development up

Just had a look at that video a few times.
IF he was standing still then it could be argued he was protecting himself so fair play. But he took a step to his left to cover the line of the ball which looked to be on line with the stumps and then used his bat.
Probably should have been out by the letter of the law.
