This ODI series reminds me of the extra three Aus vs Eng ODIs after the Australia/England/Bangladesh triseries in 2005 (before the Ashes in England). The tri-series was one of the greatest ever and then the 3 extra games were abysmal (also the first to introduce the "power play" and substitute rules that ultimately ruined ODI cricket for me.)
