We're at a deficit on a superficial level - but we actually made money that season having sold Parker, Caulker etc.

Pochettino has demanded investment and will probably get it. I doubt it'll be on Bale, but I'm quite certain that no player in our squad bar Kane and Lloris come close to wages like that, and it's no more fanciful (far less so, in fact) than Hugo joining Arsenal.

I also feel like Bale wouldn't demand that from us if he wanted to come back, he'd still be on princely money regardless.
Bale won't be joining Spurs and he won't be taking a pay cut. If he leaves Real City, Chelsea & Bayern will be the clubs most likely to sign him with United just behind them.

Don't you two be making false warchest claims now.

Manpurse for United.
Coinroll for Liverpool.

Thank you very much.
Is it a $2 coin roll or a 5c coin roll though. These things are important!

Also for all these Spurs fans saying Bale is a chance to come back. He really isnt. You're going to have to buy him for pretty much what you sold him for. You sold him for a world record fee. It was somewhere in the region of 85-90 million.

Tottenham's all time record transfer fee for a player is about 26 million for Erik Lamela.

So Spurs fans think they are suddenly going to break their own record transfer fee by about 60 million to sign him back. Jesus, that's hilarious.

It just is never going to happen. Dont bother arguing, oh he isnt worth the 85-90 he was sold for. But that's just totally wrong. Whether or not Real Madrid fans like him or hate him. He has scored 39 in 87 games for Madrid. His fee wont have gone down.

It just isnt happening Spurs fans. It really isnt.

As for Liverpool rumours. The papers say we're into Cavani which IMO, is bullshit.

Moses Simon who plays for KAA Genk and is the "Nigerian Ronaldo" Geez, cant the papers come with better stuff than this. If you are young and good at football, insert whatever country you are from and then the name Ronaldo or Messi. He's the German Messi, he's the Slovakian Ronaldo, he's the Icelandic Messi. What if there was a really good young player from Argentina? Then you cant call him the Argentinian Messi. I guess they will just call him the Argentinian Ronaldo.

Anyways, im rambling, I've never heard of Moses Simon.

We have also been linked to 65 million pound swoop for Benteke, Depay and Alex Song. Apparently 30 for Benteke, 25 for Depay and 10 for Song.

Benteke is a no go, not the type of striker we are looking for. Song is bullshit also.

Depay though, I do think we are genuinely interested in. Too much smoke to be no fire. United will buy him though just to **** us over.

Bale will be much cheaper because of the exchange rate. The reported €100m was worth £85m when real bought him, just over £70m now. Personally I can see him going even cheaper than that.

But can't see him going to Spurs.

Even if by some miracle he goes at a ridiculously cheap price of about 65 million. That is still way too far a bridge to cross for Spurs.

They dont break their record transfer fee from 28.6 to like 65. And 65 is being conservative. Really conservative.

I think you'll get Depay. Although I want him I'm not sure where he fits into our system as Di Maria will be first choice again next season. If Di Maria goes to PSG with Cavani and cash coming to us then I guess I could see us having the need for him.

Moses Simon is a very good young player. We played them in the Europa League (shit iluvparis won't like that mention) and a lot of supporters were raving about how good he was and hoped we'd sign him up, but I think he's set for a bigger club than us.
