If Sanchez ends up at Arsenal that is good news for Liverpool I expect. Probably means Suarez isnt going anywhere.
This. You cant replace Suarez. Sure we will get a ton of money or say a quality player like Sanchez and 40 million. But Sanchez realistically is half the player Suarez is. If we sell Suarez we will become weaker. Much weaker. You can throw out his 31 goals and 12 assists but it's more than that, he is involved in almost everything we do. If he isnt the assist he is the pass before the assist, or Sturridge scores because Suarez has dragged two players with him etc etc.You cant replace $80 million dollar players, Liverpool will be weaker if they sell Suarez almost regardless of who they get in. I'd imagine they would know this and will only sell if they have to.
Does anyone know much about Bafetimbi Gomis who Swansea signed on a free from Lyon a couple of days ago?
James Rodriguez would cost over 45 million I'd imagine. Would Arsene spend that on Rodriguez? I know he bought Ozil for big money last season but Ozil had been established for a while (and admittedly I don't think has lived up to the pricetag).
Established for a while?
He was the Portuguese league player of the year at 20, was a Porto regular from 18 and one of the most expensive u/20 signings in history.
He lead the Ligue 1 in assists this year and was voted the #1 player in Ligue 1 by the French press.
The only difference between him and Ozil is timing. Ozil had his world cup breakthrough before his big ticket move because of when the world cup coincided in his career.
Rodriguez moved first and is now on the big stage.
Rodriguez would cost 50m+ easily.
If anyone should be pissed off, it's United fans. They went in for him before he moved to Monaco, but the 30m bid was rejected...........back then, his price would of close to doubled.

He is saying Ozil broke through before moving to Madrid. If you're seriously going to try and argue that Rodriguez is more established than Ozil was this time last season than you're very wrong. You're comparing the Portugese league (literally lightyears away from Spanish leagues) and French leagues (still a way of). Hazard played in Ligue 1 and the question was still around if he was going to be able to make the stepup easily to premier league.
I said he'd cost 50m+ easily. You're just trying to debate whether Rodriguez is established. I made the point that Ozil was MORE established and that's why Arsene was willing to make the big money purchase.
Barca would be better off trying to get a bidding war for Sanchez, instead of using him as a part of the Suarez deal, i hope were after him our wingers are crap.Would be very disappointed if Sanchez goes to Arsenal, but Telegraph who's been reliable this summer has said people are still fighting for Sanchez's signature
