Matthieu Delpierre to the Victory. Currently building a nice squad under the radar with 'City' signing all these new players.

Berisha, Valeri, Delpierre and I'm still hoping Troisi can stick around. Maybe a LB to replace Traore and a CAM to replace Rogic and we'll be set.

Source? Can't find it on any news sites.

Admittedly read it on a Victory supporters page, but his wiki also now states he is a Melbourne player.

That's the best I can give you, I don't think anyone would bother making this up though.

It now says he joined Poo Poo United. Hard to trust Wiki pages.

That's good enough for me, he's not the most high profile name around :p

I've jumped the gun a bit, but I'm pretty confident. We need a CB to replace Contreras, just hoping he's not a marquee.

Most of the times it's correct, it is always changed very quickly when I mess around with it :p

very good source says its suarez to barca and they are begging sanchez to go to lfc

Assuming you're talking about Graham Hunter (British journalist, based in Barcelona, very well connected)? Here's the interview, 'begging' might be stretching it!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p021xstx

Basically he says that Barcelona are desperate to have Suarez, and while they may try to persuade Liverpool that his value has dropped after the latest biting incident "as is the nature of bartering", he believes they will discover that it hasn't and that Liverpool won't be lowering their asking price. As a result, in his opinion Barcelona won't be able to afford him without shifting players on and it appears that Alexis Sanchez is the most logical player to move (given that he is the most likely to be displaced by Suarez's arrival). Hunter says that Sanchez's first preference would be to stay, but Barcelona are expected to suggest to him when he returns from the World Cup "to find the right place to go, we would like that place to be Anfield".

I imagine Sanchez's perspective on the whole situation might change once he speaks to the club and realises that Barcelona don't want him anymore, and that if they are able to sign Suarez, he is the most likely to be knocked down the pecking order and see his playing time diminish.

Pretty calm about the whole situation to be honest. John Henry and the rest of the Liverpool board aren't stupid, they're not going to be swayed by the hyperbole and hysteria in the media into panic selling one of the most valuable assets in football. The general consensus 12 months ago was that Suarez was definitely leaving, there was nothing we could do about it and we were just going to have to accept whatever pitiful amount of money we were offered for him, and we saw how that turned out. This year we're in the same situation (with Suarez serving yet another 10 game ban for biting), and our negotiating position will no doubt remain the same. Suarez has 5 years remaining on his contract, the club has set their valuation with a release clause in the region of £80m and their preference for all intents and purposes will be to keep the player. With that in mind there are 2 ways this is going to go:

1. Barcelona meet (or at least come close) to the release clause with either a straight cash offer or Sanchez + cash, and Suarez goes to Spain.
2. Barcelona low ball us with an offer like Sanchez + £20m, and Suarez stays at Liverpool.

To be honest while I'd still prefer to keep Suarez, I wouldn't be unhappy with either outcome. What will be, will be.
