Di Maria going to Man Utd is very concerning, more concerning than when they got Mata

Van Gaal will switch to a 4-2-3-1 properly, and Di Maria will be his Robben

This guy gets it.

Although a luxury you don't turn down a top 15 player in the world.

Still not convinced it will happen but at least we have some solid news.

Blind close as well apparently.

Cristiano what a ******. Who does he think he is deciding which is the club to go to for somebody else.
Lol cool your tits.

Translate it to Ronaldo giving Di Maria some advice. The two are best friends at Madrid, Di Maria would have asked him about United.

Whenever I see your name I get excited.

Let's hope Di Maria can't settle in a quicker and more physical league and Man Utd is his graveyard

If I'm him I'd wait til Jan or something and wait for a bigger move from PSG or someone when they get their shits together. Ancelotti loves him, the Real fans love him, he'll still get played

Pretty sure there would be more than Liverpool fans hoping Di Maria flops for Man United

Nice to see Man Utd trying to buy their way back to the top though, been lectured to by crazed Mancs for years about how they don't buy success, they build their own players, blah blah

You did that in the 90s too, though.
Don't think those days ever began
early 90's we developed a large part of the side and got guys fairly cheap like Eric but then after winning it we started to spend big as did other teams. Wasnt like Utd went out and bought the majority of the team that went on the become champions like a lot of other sides did. They did it with kids but that cant happen now.

Keane, Cantona, Cole, Yorke, Schmeichel all purchased from other clubs.

They were. Only Cantona and Schmeichel were there when we 1st won it and like i said, the main crop of players were developed at the club but then obviously after that we started spending money on players.

Fergie breaking spending records when he first arrived at Man Utd in the 80s and continually spent after that, none of that happened

United has always spent big, as big if not bigger than anyone else until Chelsea arrived
