Barcelona paid €46 million PLUS Eto'o for Ibrahimović.

And not a crap Eto'o, he was coming off a 36 goal season.
They were trying a new direction then and they obviously just wanted Eto'o off the books. But yes, that is mental. Didn't know it 46 million Euro's either.

If City got Fabregas and money for Toure then the world is ******.

Not sure why City need to cash in on Yaya. They dont need to cash in on anybody. Selling players doesnt even matter to them. They have endless amounts of money so it's not like they need that 30 million to push on a buy another player.

Christensen saying he's happy at the Blues and going nowhere and Bamford saying there's a fair chance he'll be our third in line striker next season, which would be cool if 2 of Lukaku, Costa or Mandzukic are in front of him.

Hopefully this stops the stupid Cole to Liverpool rumours. Worst rumour of the summer so far. Why we would want a washed up LB who also wants massive wages is beyond me.

Liverpool have 0 interest in Cashley.
He may be washed up but he's still better than what you've got.

Having said that, you're right about Liverpool having zero interest

I wouldnt play Cole in front of either of Enrique or Flanno. We are going to bring in a very good LB too, a young LB. Cole is shit and old and we're not interested.

Hmm I dunno if Bamf (that's his nickname now) is up to it yet... I think I'd prefer to see him get a loan to another PL team. If Derby get up, him going back there would be perfect.

That says more about your inability to see past Liverpool players more than anything else.

Cole is miles ahead of both Enrique and Flanagan.

Everton leading the race for Charlie Austin, and it seems we're preparing a softer medical for him this time around by also sniffing around. ;)
Heard Hull were going in hard for Austin again. That would medical would be rather embarrassing haha.

Read an interesting stat on Hull - Fryatt was Hull's top scorer in all competitions last season despite never starting a PL game.

As in the new medical would be embarrassing or the old one?

Yeah but he started nearly every FA Cup match, 2 goals against Southend, and one against Sheff United. But also scored (and started) against Sunderland, and in the league against United and Fulham. I guess shows why I rate him so highly. You sure you wouldn't take him back at Leicester? ;)

I meant more awkward than anything else. Would be a bit odd. I wonder whether Austin has any negative feeling towards the club due to failing him?

Haha yeah, no thanks. Is a good Championship striker, don't want him now.

Highlights your need for a better strikeforce. Admittedly you have improved that with Jela and Long. If you could add Austin to that, it would be a very handy strike force

Not sure why he would?

Despite scoring a screamer at Old Trafford? And scoring against three Premier League clubs in one of the best goals/minutes ratios in the league?

Not really, highlights how ridiculously even our goal spread was. Off the top of my head we had Fryatt 6, Davies Hudd Jela 5, Long Livermore Meyler Brady Sagbo 4.

Would much rather that sort of spread than one player scoring 20 and the next best getting 5 like what QPR essentially had this season.

I didnt say anyone was better than the other. I just said I wouldnt play Cole in front of either Enrique or Flanno. What is the point of playing Cole now? We are a young side, full of pace and and energy. Cole is what, 34 years old? How does Flanno get any better if we buy Cole and play him.

It's a moot point anyways. Liverpool have 0 interest in signing Cashley.
