He would be worth it though, superb touch and vision, extremely intelligent, understands the tactics of pressing the opposition, plus I think Rodgers likes the idea of the core of the squad being British. You pick up a versatile player like Lallana who can cover 2 or 3 positions and it negates the need to spend money in other areas, I think he'd be a very smart buy - even at the £20m+ price supposedly being quoted.

Id be pretty pleased with Rodriguez at LB and Lallana to help in an AM sense. Then maybe a dab of Konoplyanka and the return of Borini and Suso and that is 5 players added to the squad which pushes our squad depth back up.
