Apparently Atletico will only get to keep £16m of the £32m we gave them for Costa.

I wish he would stay one more year. Id love to see him in the CL with us and also one more year and he would go past 100 goals for the club and join an elite group. Such a shame.

Cech just said he is very happy at Chelsea and he wants to stay.
I can see this turning into a battle of the goalkeepers and the loser leaving in January.

Agents own % of player rights these days. It's massively popular in South America for example. Gabriel Barbosa a teen sensation from Brazil his agentl has 20% right on his next transfer fee. .. catching on massively in Portugal and Italy has somewhat broken out of the 50/50 ownership deals as agents are acquiring a % of players rights. So clubs not only have to acquire the player from the club at their set value but also have to acquire the % the agent owns and is not necessarily inline with clubs valuation of a player. Confused? Well get used it because its going to be the norm in five years I think.

Apparently Real Madrid are trying to sign James Rodriguez with Di Maria on the way out. His agent Mendes is trying to get him to sign for us or Monaco.

i appreciate that james is a tremendous player. but so is di maria. di maria had an absolutely tremendous season and fits in with madrid's system so well, especially since ancelotti moved him into midfield
but both barca and madrid seem utterly intent on pushing out some of their best players this window so i don't know anymore
