I've got seats in section Q9 of the Southern Stand on Saturday...where is everyone else sitting? Anyone keen on a kick-to-kick session on the sacred turf after the siren on Saturday?

Don't know where I'm sitting. I'm just turning up on the day. I'm not paying 22 dollars to reserve a seat for the preliminary finals. Now way. it wasn't even full last year, because restricted members can't go, so I'll turn up on the day. Probably sit on the top deck.

I just rang ticketmaster. They said there are some seats (not many) in P level (where you are) and M level (bottom)

Why would you pay 22 dollars to reserve a seat ? Especially since last years prelim wasnt full (in the AFL members) In fact, no prelim has been full in the AFL members since the Southern Stand got built.

Shinboner, they haven't needed me for any of the finals unfortunately. I better be working at the Grand Final though.

Um, otherwise....how about this....as you look on the ground from the Southern Stand, go to the goal posts on the *right* hand side and we'll just meet next to the *right* hand behind post. Just yell out "Arch?" or "Shinboners" or something like that.

It's a damn shame that Sainter isn't working. Where's Rice80 gone? Who else is going to the match?

By the way, does anyone know if AFL Restricted Members will have access to Grand Final tickets at any stage? I seem to remember last year they released a few tickets to AFL Restricted Members who had club supports for either North or Carlton. Is it going to be the same this year? I'm just asking 'cos if it's a North vs Essendon Grand Final, then I'd be able to get Arch a ticket to the match....only thing is that it'd probably be safer for him to sit in AFL members than in the North section.

G'day guys,

Unfortunately, won't be attending on Saturday, My little girl's just had an operation and a team effort is needed on the home front. That's why I was away yesterday.

Will be watching at the old mans in Ballarat, however (thankyou Prime), couldn't stand listening on radio after last year. All the best though fellas have a good one, especially the fellow Don supporters. Dan don't be too hard on the Blues fans if we roll 'em, nah forget that give - give 'em hell. Hopefully you might run into that sleazey Julia, watch out for the "Mount Franklin" drinkers.

Shinners all the best to your guys for tonight, no Lange bit surprizing? I think maybe it's because Scholl's back in favour.

Hope to be there for the big one, fingers crossed, if we're there.

There probably will be some available for restricted members (going by past years)

Although with the medallion club now eligible, I'm not sure. You'll just have to wait and see what the demand is like on Sunday morning.

provided the Dons make it, I'm going straight home (after having a kick with you guys) and lining up at Werribee plaza.

They say we are not allowed to "choose" our seats. That sucks. They said in the ad in the Herals sun today that seats will be sold in the "nest best" basis.

But I want to sit on level 2A (3rd level). So, if NONE of those 2A seats have been sold yet, it looks as though they will allocate the bottom level (since that gets sold beofre level 2A)

That's ridiculous. We should be able to choose. I like the elevated view.

Hope your little girl's operation was just a minor one and that recovers quickly. Best wishes that everything goes smoothly and we'll be thinking of you and your family.

Lange out did raise my eyebrow a little. It's raining here, so I guess with him in, we might have a little bit too much height (well, Clayton is tall, but he's fast while Sholl has experience and did okay last week....he's just got to find his kicking boots). They must be confident about Carey's fitness to leave out Lange though.
