Actually 'we' do. You don't get to 200 games without having a bit of footy nous and the ability to physically take on the burden of a full H&A series.

If anything, Leigh Brown perfectly fits the mould of a Malthouse 'Blue collar' defender. He's not flashy, not flushed with skills but he's big, can take a mark, forces a contest and make his opposite number accountable.

If Brown is crash/bash/niggle then Shaw/Maxwell/O'Brien have the opportunity to float in, clean up and dash forward - Brown is essential structurally at this stage of the year. He was drafted with a specific role in mind and he's playing it extremely well.

Goldsack's going to be great, too - his closing speed and height are going to make him harder to beat - but he won't be able to use his body to dominate just yet.

If you take everything he says and completely reverse the meaning and opinion then you are very close to the actual truth.

What did I say about Davis, opti, and when?

Didak I criticised because at the time (in 2006) he was putting in a few shorties and not taking any hits for the team.

Davis was getting picked for 7 years as MM admitted, because of his ethnicity.

I did say in 2007 Davis had started to change and I now had changed my view of him. But it took 7 years and he could have been traded at that time. He even wanted to leave but no one wanted him in WA.
