Imps signed Noosa gun Jai Fitzpatrick who will dominate! Of similar ilk to Laskey and Buntain in terms of quality,smooth mover and silky skills!
Also chasing Connor McDonald a brilliant versatile running ruckman who can play key position also.Has dominated wherever he’s played last two years(Noosa,Darwin,Central Murray)Was named in Vic Country Team of the year! Wish they were all still playing at Noosa

For weeks I’ve noticed all the Sunraysia clubs have published the resignings and recruits for next year. Well nearly all Irymple have yet to publish any at all, other than co coach Will Callow . Are Irymple keeping secret there efforts for next season or should we read more into it ?

Will Ouyen have a problem finding a coach at this time of the year??
I guess it will depend on what they want or are willing to accept.

They will pop up always do, they’ll find a couple and develop a few kids don’t hold them down

It's hard to get guys to commit to the travel to coach I'd think

At this time of the year local footy is pretty quiet. In the SF NL L the clubs have been up and at it on the track and recruiting seems to be going well.
I’ve had a crack at picking the top five at the end of the year.
I was going to try to do it in finishing order but that proved too hard so this is simply the five sides to play off in the finals.
South, Imps, Mildura and Wenty, It was here that I gave up trying to pick the fifth finalist.
Who do you reckon?
Can you write of Irymple and Robinvale? Have the others done enough?
Maybe South won’t make it, they’ve had all the recruits in the world before and sadly haven’t made it.
Out of Merbein, Red Cliffs and Ouyen we may have a finalist.

Surely with all their recruiting South must improve. I guess we will see if they have done enough to make the four.

A very untidy start fixture wise.

Pity we can’t see the Transfer List, I hear Irymple about to pick up a good young player from Bendigo.

Some sides have played two games while some others have played on and were still to see what Irymple has to offer.
Very early I know but will Wentys current form continue or is it just temporary?
Red cliffs looked like they were on the improve but got a spanking from Mildura.
Imps are continuing there premiership form and so far look the goods.
The Easter round should answer a few questions .

U 18’s……. Shambles
Surely the current arrangement which sees 5 Under 18 sides not involved with footy this weekend is far,far from ideal. I know some sides can’t get numbers ( priorities….. pay some players and win a flag). Could we go to 15 a side , perhaps shorter 1/4s. I know Mildura lends some players out to club which is very noble of them.
Perhaps the bye side could top up the struggling sides. Some leagues wouldn’t let the club compete unless they could field sides in the relevant grades.

I realize that this forum is very quiet ,perhaps the above will stir up some interest.
