Hamilton story tonight more or less saying Clayton has had a gun to his head from coaches, chairmen and even the AFL to bring in experienced and mature bodies.
The article actually say he was told from the beginning to bring in experience players and it went on to say how he failed at that.
Wasn't talking about this trade period

You're right. I was referring to previous trade periods. I'm too old to know how to paste the actual links.

Should've put the original 16 uncontracted player concessions to greater use. That still irks me

So one week Whiting and Hamilton are telling us the players are 100% behind the Eade. Then he gets boned by Evans. Now Hamilton is saying that Clayton needs to remain. Expect Clayton to be the next public boning.
Queensland needs better journalists covering the game.

I'm sick of footy shows calling us irrelevant and then going on to talk about us for half the show.
Sadly it what we are.
The afl need to go all in and get Clarkson, let him build his own team and let him turn this ship around.
Players will be lining up to come to us we will be a destination club and a future power house in no Time

Yeah but i'm fine with them saying we suck or what ever but when they bring out the same lines over and over again it's really just pointless. Clearly if they are talking about us then we are relevent just not very good.

982,000 people that don't give a stuff about your club is the problem I think.

More importantly are Ablett and Lynch expected to play this week?

We start winning we'll draw decent crowds. Supporters from every team disappear if they're struggling.
Look at Essendon ave 47,000 per home game a few years back, only 33,000 last year when the team needed them most and now back up to 51,000 this year.

All this carry on and judgement and panic. Clubs have ups and downs, our History is this:
We were on the rise (McKenna), then we flattened out, we then hit a down period under Rocket the epic sookie sookie la la Melbourne construction and now we are hitting the reset button
So in summary our history is
Rise, Flatten, Reset, Downer, Reset.

And in regards to crowds morons our attendances compare about equally with Spotless Stadium and that club is going gangbusters, we are poo and get the same attendance.

It's just so frustrating continually having to state basic obvious facts to morons.

Finally, compare the number of young AFL players that our region is putting into the AFL to the Western Suburbs of Sydney (don't go including Wagga and Canberra I said the Western Suburbs of Sydney).

Go Suns and go the GC.
