I don't think you're far off the mark.

There's always plenty of actions, traversal around the map is simply amazing, lots of different guns (rather than the usual assault/shotty/sniper/pistol set-up).

And as someone who doesnt have the time to spend 6 hours pounding away at a boss, the unpunishing nature of the game is a joy.

First half n hour or so of the game it wasn't really clicking with me.
Became one of the best games of 2014 in my eyes.
Def gets better the more you play of it.

Definitely. And its not just the weapon upgrades, its movement upgrades. I can traverse the city without touching the ground.

Nice top hat. I think this is one of the only games I've gone stupid with my costumes. The game pretty much encourages it.

Just started playing this. Wasn't that impressed to begin with but then I saved a robot dog and it became awesome.

Shame the MP is completely dead though. That's the price you pay for grabbing a niche title late though I guess.

One of the funnest games Ive played. I hope there is a sequel.
 
Started it up tonight. Enjoying it so far.

Having to get used to the movement stuff. It's hard to grasp that you have to hit X every time you want to grind on something, instead of just hovering to it similar to something like inFAMOUS. I'm sure eventually it'll become second nature, but on some of the challenges like that points collection one I had a lot of frustrating moments trying to grind a new rail only to forget to hit X and fall to the ground.

I really like the visual style and overall theme of the game though, so I'm definitely going to keep going and put in some good hours over this weekend.

Yeah, I played it on release and didn't really fancy it but decided to give it another go and have started to find real fun in it.

The students in the arcade (or whatever it is) are very fun.

I saw on Steam that you already had it lol. That was quick! Have you tried it yet? I only just downloaded it myself and will give it a spin to test it out tomorrow probably. Can’t wait to play this again. I read that multiplayer has been removed? That’s a shame if it were only some simple game modes.
