Great game and great season from the reds. Injuries just struck at the wrong time and they let one too many games go when they should have won. That aside I doubt there's anyone whose expectations they haven't exceeded this year.
It will be interesting to see the difference in membership numbers from this year to next for Qld. I'm predicting they'll get quite a big increase based on the way they've played as much as anything else. Hopefully all the teams get an increase in attendances as a result of more local derby's.

The SA teams ensured both semis over there. I'm sure the Aus and Kiwi teams would do the same if they could.

^ yup. Was actually quite annoyed by our whinging. We have only ourselves to blame after our performance in Invercargil 2 weeks ago.
Exactly. We win that game, a game we really should have won based on the general ability of the 2 teams and the form they had been in all year, and we have a home final. They were just far more enthusiastic and willing to bust a gut for the win.

Bulls take out the title.
Got home about 10 minutes into the game and watched the first half but was exhausted after footy in the morning and a night out so went to bed. Hougard's try was beautifully worked by the Bulls and they seemed to really have the better of the ball in the first half. Stormers scored 2 tries to 0 in the 2nd half so must have turned the flow but Steyn's kicking is a huge asset for the Bulls, allows them to kick a lot of ball away and force mistakes.
