Dissapointed with the force, we really needed to win that one. We need to Nalaga into the game more.

Saw a bit of the Brumbies-Force game at home and a bit when I was out. Liked what I saw for the most part from Toomua and Leali'ifano. Both have a huge amount of talent and it's about time the Brumbies let them take over the team. Left with Robbie Coleman to mature more, they could form a very capable trio.

Bulls beat Sharks over night too.

Yeah can't see either the Brumbies or Force contending this season after that match. Neither team are good enough with the ball in hand.

Just got home from the game and Tahs were the better team only because QLD played very poorly. Tahs played pretty badly too but were the better side. But that last try was absolutely exhilarating. Pretty rubbish game all in all but that try was incredible from Shipperely.

Tahs need Barnes, Mitchell back terribly. Barnes in particular. Halangahu is just not capable of playing an expansive game at S15 level. Liked the look of Pretorius though.

The crowd look bigger than what I was told the figure was.

Was there too, agree with all you said.

Who kicked the ball away with 30 seconds left? The waratahs had a scrum advantage and if the ball had been kept in hand there was no chance of losing. Unbelievably poor decision making to kick it away in that moment.

The Lions close win over the Cheetahs today, may be one of the most significant results of the season. With the Southern Kings assured a place next season, many assume whoever finishes bottom of the South African Conference will probably be "relegated" at the Kings' expense.

Good for the Lions carrying on their Currie Cup momentum.

Here is the ultimate stupidity of players.
Keep the ball and you win. kick the ball away and there's a chance of losing.

They deserved to lose after that last minute performance!

Great win by my undermanned Highlanders away from home :D

I have a soft spot for the Highlanders. I really like watching them play and always like seeing them do well. I reckon they could be an absolute bolter for the finals this year if they can keep their best 22 or so players on the field.

Pretty sure it was Foley. Haven't watched a replay of the debarcle though

Bernard Foley apparently to take over at fullback for the Tahs in place of AAC who will move to the wing. AAC must be wondering why he bothered moving from Canberra where he got moved from fullback for lesser players only for it to happen again in the 2nd week of the season.

More hyperbole. AAC wasn't that bad last night and is a very solid player that any team is better for having. Having said that, Foley was very impressive last night. I certainly agree with that.

Palu was great for the 50 mins on but he looked to get injured once again. Hopefully it's not serious. A fit Palu is pretty much unstoppable at S15 level. He put on some massive hits in attack and defence. TPN was good as always as were Dennis and Benny Robinson. Pack dominated until Kepu went off then TPN got sin binned. Scrum got beaten when those 2 were off and Blake came on for the Rebels.

Tommy Carter must be the most unpopular player in all of Australia. Everyone has a go at him. He brings it on himself with all the lip he gives though.

Half the reason we lost to the Reds was AAK's uselessness at fullback, at full strength he should be on the bench, Mitchell to replace AAK. Foley scored a try last night that AAK would not have even got remotely close to scoring

Great first half in the Highlanders vs Crusaders game. Really high quality. The Highlanders have played with a high tempo and a lot of physicality and deserve their 20-10 lead. Hope they can keep it up and pull off the upset. The evidence suggests the NZ conference is going to be very tough.

It's a quality new stadium they have down there in Otago now. Fantastic atmosphere. I reckon that sort of indoor stadium is the future. Basically ensures perfect match conditions and enhances the atmosphere by keeping the noise in. I'll bet the Highlanders will get consistently bigger crowds this year than they've ever had before.
