Scored 2,222 and went up 3,000 spots (6,500 to 3,500). Still carrying a few blokes but need to use my trades wisely cause I only have 12 left :(
 
Ah, damnit, just realised I was one man down (Sansbury, what happened to him?) but in fanfooty Murphy came in, of course Murphy's a centre, so I ended up with 2205 instead.
 
So surprised...I couldn't be bother adding it up b4, just logged in and got 2439...almost fell off my chair :D
 
Bit of help required. I have 320k or so sitting in the bank.

Tell me if this bit of wheeling and dealing sounds good;

Option 1:
McVeigh for C Cornes (Brings me back to 135k in the bank)
Akermanis for Bate (Puts me back to 494k in the bank)

Next week:
Skipper for Lade (Brings me back to 190k in the bank)

Only problem with this is that i'll have Bruce, Yze and Bate from Melbourne all in the forward line.

Option 2:
McVeigh for Swan (Leaves me with 273k in the bank)
Skipper for Simmonds (Leaves me with 57k in the bank)

Next week:
Akermanis for someone less than 526k (Rocca, S. Grant, Fevola, B Johnson?) Could even still put Bate in there and push the bank balance back up to 417k and upgrade someone else in the squad.

eg.
Roughead for C Cornes or
M Clarke for Lade

Mate, Option 1 kills the other option!!! Your bringing in two absolute guns (also captain choices) and also getting an excellent cash cow in Bate :thumbsu:

I'd go with option one as long as you don't play short with Skipper in there and I wouldn't worry too much about the Melb thingo as most spend time all round the ground...
 
Cheers for the advice. I'm leaning towards option 1, i don't know the formula for price raising and i get the feeling based on Bate's average that if i follow option 2 he may rise too much for me to get Lade or Cornes next week.

chooka_delic: Tough choice, Brown is more consistant, Pavlich is unpredicable, but i get the feeling Pavlich would probably play 22 games and Brown could get injured. Its a 50/50 call but i may lean towards Pavlich cause you get a bit of extra $$$ in the bank for elsewhere in the squad if needed.
 
Tredrea in a few weeks is almost gonna be steal of the year for his price. He probably will fall to below 450,000 cos of his bad start....i certainly will get him very soon :D

Having Chapman and O'Keefe helps.

5 minutes before lockout I remembered I hadn't fixed up my captain. Changed it from Chapman to Hodge. Thought Chapman was due for a downer. Doesn't matter Hodge should murder the Lions midfield.:)
 
Happy with Hall and Richo this week, I was hoping both of them would cross 100 as I needed it considering how poorly Josh Carr went.
 
1675 with 7 to come.

Had Hodge as captain... Would have gone Brown but forgot I had him. Would have been a real shot at the weekly prize as well. So :D:D:D:Ding filthy on my self right now.

1938 i think. :eek: Shocking.

EDIT: Actually i think its 2017. Will probably wait til the scores comes out, i accidently calculated C Cornes as my captain when it was actually Mitchell.
