Last time I updated my squad, Rooke was still playing for Geeling. Luckily had S.Thompson off the bench, but its a near thing. No changes now.

Would love to have swapped in Brown for Spangher too, now I see he's going to be used. Not sure what I'll do about that all now... hope I get no injuries in the coming weeks, I suppose.

My team has loaded up and my team is fine, except it didn't load up the emergencies. Does that mean my team is stuffed or it's locked in and won't load up because the site has crashed?

in all honestly my team is alright, but it just pisses me off this happens.

Only worry, I had tippet with rioli as an emg, (fingers crossed) but wanted to get symes off and burton back into the fwd line. I did a bit of a defensive move this morn killing burton to protect me on the proud front, but when I saw I looked safe i wanted to revert back.

Dunno if Symes will play, but at least have him covered with Thompson.

Got rid of Proud for Jake Edwards, and managed to change my midfield emergency from Palmer to Bird. Palmer's still in the team though, didn't get to trade him for Tuck.

i'm playing one short in my backline and midfield... down back i had l.hansen as an emergancy ahead of jake edwards who would've replaced brendan goddard...

in the middle I had both clint bartram and armitage both miss out, bird from sydney is my emergancy, leaving me one short...

in good news stevens and simmonds both provided value for me tonight...

As players rushed to make last-minute changes to their teams and tips before Round 1 began at 6.10pm, the server of the game's provider, Vapor Media, almost ground to a halt.

Vapor Media managing director Peter Jankulovski said more than 200,000 SuperCoaches and 50,000 SuperTippers across the country all seemed to be trying to make changes after teams were chosen for the remaining Round 1 matches not announced on Wednesday night.

"We expected a rush, but even then it's hard to cater for something like this," Jankulovski said.

He said SuperCoach players who had troubles locking into private leagues could still finalise plans at any time before the end of Monday's match between North Melbourne and Essendon, provided their teams were fully built before tonight's first match began.

He also said players could still register to play either game and be in a private or public league at any time before leagues were finalised before Round 4. But in that instance, players can only join leagues formed after Round 1.

lol, same ere. after seeing yesterday's guided team sheets, i realised Proud probably won't be a starter, so i traded him for Jake Edwards and also switched Masten for Bird (emergency), and i did get Tuck as well (Travis). Did this all yesterday as well, so as to beat the rush today.

I'm not too concerned over Palmer, I think he'll still be close to rookie of the year this year, whereas Tuck might struggle to keep his place once the experienced Hawks come back. I probably still would have taken Tuck for the known quantity, but it's far from a disaster especially when I have a serviceable emergency this week.

I was lucky... had a team sorted, just wanted to go in and add Nathan Brown (Coll) before lockout. Didn't get to do that, but didn't change anything else either.

I did the exact same thing. I was going to bring N. Brown in for Proud but it was shot. Nothing happened. Lucky I left it as it was. If I tired to make any other changes it might have stuffed right up.

This is a FARCE really. All the hard work and effort people have put in. Ive read some sad stories tonight and it's just not fair.

not the stupidest idea ever but over on the afl board someone sugested that Virtual sports open up 2moz and for all those people who missed out can finish off there teams, obviusly excluding anything to do with geelong port richmond or carlton players but not a bad idea, as much as we would all like this to happen i see our chances very slim

I had a side picked and ready to go. All I wanted to do was trade Proud out and a few bench players that weren't in. Got in with 3 minutes to go. When I clicked on my team I got a page telling me to pick thirty players to makeup my side. Panick stations. I clicked on "midfield" and up pops a graphical team view of the side I had previously picked...minus the entire midfield and a message telling me to pick 8 midfielders. I don't know how I did it in time but with 12 seconds left I'd managed to pick a half decent midfield from the list off a page that didn't fully load. Didn't get to trade the players I had out but at least I had 30 players and got to stay in my league. I wonder how many people got caught between trades and locked out of round 1 with incomplete teams.

As far as my dreamteam went. Lets just say I should not have bothered trying to make last minute changes. Virtualsports suk. Not happy, Jan!

i don't think that would work, the system wouldn't allow it i would imagine, it would be too messy...

i think the solution to this is having unlimited trades next week, perhaps until wednesday night, allowing sides to pick rookies who are playing... however this still doesn't solve the problem for those who didn't have full sides selected...

i had no capt, no emergencys and 3 players on field not starting (rookies), so it makes it tough for me from here, in sayign that ive had corey 145, cornes 128, newman 89, simmonds 66, stevens 87 so i cant complain, just gotta grind away and hope for results. anything VS can do they should to fix this problem.
