Auckland beat the runners up late year.

Today sees Wellington v Otago (11AM AWST , 2PM AEST).

Here is an idea , lets merge the Big Bash and Super Smash, have a 14 team comp (8 Aus, 6 NZ) and make them play each other at least one time in a round robin. Could have 91 games in a regular season, and there would be genuine interest globally.

How does that sound or am I off my coconuts?
