Sam Gray has been disappointing so far, he doesn't have a problem getting the pill but it's disposal efficiancy that is ruining which is something he can fix so more inclined to hold....

This! I also wanted to start Parker (who i've now got, yay!) but after changing my team around heaps when i learnt on the Saturday that Howe was not named for round 1 I decided to leave him out. I ended up with a combination of McGovern/De Goey/Shuey when i really wanted Howe/Parker/Gray or Merrett.

If I knew Howe was out earlier i may have even gone with Laird/Parker/B.Kennedy but Kennedy was already playing so i couldn't do that either. After about 6 'corrective' trades i now finally like the look of my team and am ready to get Dangerfield next week but seriously **** Hawthorn for not playing Howe and **** me for not anticipating Howe not playing ahead of time and not having a contingency plan. For all the work i put in i pretty much undid most of it with those last minute panic trades. 'Luckily' the rest of my team is pretty average too so it is not like i ruined a really good thing. At this stage I'll probably be happy if i can finish in the top 20k

I only put in the players I was actually considering in the pre-season; I'm not going to say that picking Barlow over Jarrad Waite or something is a regret. With hindsight, Parker was obviously the best pick.

Traded in BenKen for Barlow, I think it was for the best in the long run though as I turned Rockliff into GAJ and banked 350k. Got my captain choice correct fortunately (Danger).

Crowley let me down so far, could have had another cow in that position, which is annoying. Could have gone Weitering instead of him...

Rich and Kolojashnji have served up a few doughnuts in defence too, which isn't ideal (especially with the late changes, you bastards).

Otherwise life is ok.

So you may as well pick Milera and enjoy his 100+ score, while Papley will get KOd by a knee trying to pick a loose ball up in the first 5 mins of the game..
