Great idea.

I'd like to see Nick Davis's scores for each quarter from the 2005 semi final.

128 points for his last quarter. 13th highest in history.

Would of been a 100+ quarter surely. Forgetting the significance of it being a final, i can't think of anything similar in recent years of someone kicking the last even 2 or 3 including the winner to get a gauge on how weighted it might be. Wouldn't be a stretch to suggest Davis' game in the 05 semi would have been a 200+ game.

I vaguely remember they scored Kouta's last quarter in 99' @ 140 or thereabouts. Can't remember overall.

To ONLY score 217 with those sort of stats. Even if you win by 15 goals. It's still a massive contribution.

Well it was 32 possessions.

Jroo's 10.4 = 217 SC
LeCras' 12.2 = 226 SC
Kennedy's 10.3 = 190 SC

It doesn't seem so out of whack compared to those scores above. You need to remember SC points are capped for each game, so a bag of goals doesn't automatically mean 300 points or whatever.

If a player isn't a standout they won't get inflated points. From the sounds of it Steele got 10 goals in a big win, and his goals didn't decide the match. For all I know there could have been 5 players who had 30+ possessions and a few goals each. The points have to be shared.

true Nathan Buckley has the highest score (267) and it was a close game
